In 2014 Russia occupied the third place on the volume of oil deliveries to China. Russia’s export to China totaled 33.1 million tons, reported the Chinese General Customs Department.
In December 2014 the volume of oil deliveries from China to Russia increased by 86% against December 2013 and totaled 3.72 million tons of oil. Earlier Oman occupied the third place on the volume of deliveries.
Saudi Arabia is the leader of oil deliveries to China. Saudi Arabia exported 49.7 million tons of oil to China in 2014. Share of Saudi Arabian oil delivered to China decreased by 16% from 19.5% in 2015.
Angola is on the second place on the deliveries to China with the volume of deliveries of 40.6 million tons of oil (13%).
In 2014 the volume of oil production in China totaled 210 million tons. For the fifth time in a row Chinese oil production does not go below 200 million tons a year.
