Khamid Reza Araki, General Director of the Iranian National Gas Company, said that in the coming month natural gas production in Iran will increase by 50 million cub.m. a day and this allow lifting part of the restrictions on delivery of gas to the power stations and industrial enterprises this winter.
Khamid Reza Araki said that gas production will increase after launching of the 12th and 18th phases of the Southern Pars field and as a result, total gas production will exceed 650 million cub.m. a day.
Khamid Reza Araki said that one of the main goals of the company is to supply population with gas and observe environment protection norms. This winter the conditions will be created for reliable gas deliveries and the restrictions on gas deliveries to the power stations, industrial enterprises and gas stations will be reduced and reduction of use of fossil fuel will allow reducing the environment pollution, writes Iran.ru.
