On November 1, 2014 SOCAR has found the body of a person missing after the accident on the foundation No 441 of Narimanneft oil and gas production plant on October 23, 2014, SOCAR reported.
SOCAR reported that body of Abdulhasan Islam oglu Huseynov was found on the sea bottom by the divers of SOCAR and the Ministry of Emergency Situations at 09.00 a.m. and taken out to the shore.
Bodies of three missing SOCAR’s employees have been found earlier two kilometers away from the accident site.
Thus, Faig Badalov, 1971, Ilkin Nabizada, 1969, Rovshan Ibragimhalilov , 1956, and Abdulhasan Huseynov, 1976, have died as a result of the accident.
The constructions have collapsed during repair works on the platform No 441 of Narimanovneft plant on October 23, 2014 at about 12.00 p.m. The residential module has fallen on the 700 mm diameter gas pipeline causing its damage and fire. The fire was extinguished at 12.45 p.m.
41 employees were working on the site during the accident. Medical aid was rendered to the injured employees.
