From January to September 2014 assignments of State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) to the state budget of Azerbaijan totaled 1,412,857,000 AZN ($1,802 billion at the current rate). During the same period last year 1,185,092,000 AZN ($1,513 billion) has been transferred to the state budget.
SOCA reported that the payments increased by 19.2% or by 227,765,000 AZN against the same period last year.
During 9 months, 2014 SOCAR also transferred 107,547,000 AZN to the State Social Security Fund. From January to September 2013 SOCAR transferred 120,112,000 AZN to the Fund. The reason of reduction of allocations to the Social Security Fund is that number of SOCAR’s employees is gradually reduced, because of structural reforms.
However, the web site of SOCAR reads that assignments to the Fund increased by 1.2% or by 1,415,000 AZN against the same period last year.
During 9 months SOCAR’s payments to the state budget increased by about 20%
