SOCAR Turkey Enerji has united assets with SOCAR Izmir Petrokimya in the Petkim petrochemical complex.
After the merger share of SOCAR Turkey Enerji in the Petkim complex totaled 61.32%. SOCAR Izmir Petrokimya owned 10.32% share, reads the message published on the web site of the Turkish state agency for public notification Kamuoyunu Aydınlatma Platformu (KAP).
According to the same source, the merger of SOCAR Turkey Enerji and its daughter company SOCAR Izmir Petrokimya took place on September 22, 2014.
38.67% shares of the petrochemical complex are still in free circulation at the Istanbul stock exchange.
During 2013 Petkim’s net profit totaled 49 million Lira.
