During 8 months, 2014 State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) Department of Marketing and Economic Operations exported 16,617,218 tons of crude oil.
677,785 tons of oil was exported via the Baku-Novorossiysk pipeline, 2,029,456 tons via the Baku-Supsa pipeline and 13,909,97 tons via the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) pipeline, reported SOCAR press office.
SOCAR reported that in August 2014 2,269,471 tons of oil was exported. Of this volume 84,670 tons was exported via the Baku-Novorossiysk pipeline, 242,076 tons via the Baku-Supsa pipeline and 1,942,635 tons via BTC.
According to SOCAR, the Department exports both the company’s own oil as well as oil the government’s share in the production sharing agreements (PSA).
