KazMunaiGas national company will put out for privatization five assets, including three daughter companies KMG International N.V. (former Rompetrol) and 49% bloc of shares Kazmortransflot, Novosti Kazakhstan news agency quoted Aleksei Golovin, Managing Director for Corporate Development and Communications KMG International N.V., as saying.
“We mean the companies, which are a part of KMG International, which assets are located in Romania, Palplast company, which specializes in production of plastic plates and pipes, Zalau company specializing in production of steel and cast iron valves and Global Security System company specializing in protecting the objects, Golovin said at the meeting with the potential investors concerning privatization of assets of a group of companies of the Fund organized by Samruk-Kazyna JSC.
He also reminded that daughter company of KazMunaiGas KMG International consists of more than 40 juridical persons with the turnover of over $10 billion.
While describing the Romanian companies put up for privatization, Managing Director of KMG International N.V. said that the assets “are representatives of small and medium business and they are comparatively small.”
Golovin said that KMG will also put up for privatization two companies – the Euro-Asia Air aviation company and a bloc of 49% shares of Kazmortransflot company.
