SOCAR’s delegation led by its Senior Vice President Khoshbakht Yusifzada has visited Iran at the invitation of administration of the Iranian Company for Exploration and Production on the Caspian Sea (KEPKO).
SOCAR reported that the delegation has met with Senior Deputy of Iranian Oil Minister, General Director of Iranian National Oil Company Rukneddin Javadi, Deputy Minister of Oil for International Affairs and Commerce Ali Majidi and Deputy General Director for International Affairs of the Iranian National Gas Company, chairman of Board for Gas Export Azizulla Ramazani.
At the meeting Ali Osuli, General Director of the Iranian Company for Exploration and Production in Caspian Sea, has familiarized the delegation with the history and international relationships of KEKP. He mentioned the company’s interest in cooperation with SOCAR in the Caspian Sea. The sides have emphasized importance of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Iran in this field.
The delegation has also visited the Scientific-Research Institute of Oil Industry in Tehran and familiarized itself with the research of Iranian scientists in the oil and gas industry and nano technologies.
