State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) oil export decreased by 10,898 tons against the same period last year.
From January to July 2014 SOCAR delivered oil via the Baku-Novorossiysk (593,025 tons), Baku-Supsa (1,787,379 tons) and Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipelines (BTC) (11,967,342 tons).
In July 2014 SOCAR exported 2,073,057 tons of oil. 84,803 tons of oil was exported via the Baku-Novorossiysk, 334,805 tons via the Baku-Supsa oil pipeline and 1,653,449 tons via the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline.
In 2013 Azerbaijani oil export totaled 24,225,000 tons, of which 17,051,023 tons via the Baku-Novorossiysk, 2,725,950 tons via the Baku-Supsa and 19,748,027 tons via the BTC. The peak of export was in February 2013 – 2,310,859 tons.
SOCAR reported that it exports both its own oil and the government’s share in the production sharing agreements (PSA).
