On August 21, 2014 press office of the Kazakhstan Energy Ministry announced that referring to the order of the Ministry of National Economy.
The new retail prices of oil products, which are regulated by the state, will be introduced: 115 tenge per 1 liter for diesel fuel (102 tenge earlier), 89 tenge per liter for Ai-80 (did not change) and 128 tenge per liter for Ai-92/93 (earlier 115 tenge per liter).
Therefore, rise in prices for popular fuel constituted in average 12%. The previous rise in prices was in October 2013.
The main reason of price rise is correction of tenge rate and seasonal rise in fuel price.
