The Russian Navigation Register is involved in preparation for transportation of the upper structure of the central technological platform for Filanovsky field on the north of the Caspian Sea to the operation site.
The preparatory works started on June 5, 2014 on the assembly site Ilyinka in Astrakhan. The first stage includes the operations for transfer of the upper structure of the platform weighing 10,250 tons from the ship-way to the specially equipped transportation barge Yurii Kuvykin.
The experts said that high qualified specialists and special equipment is needed to perform these operations. The transportation will be done in several stages: the upper structure will be lifted 10 meters high by the jack to place the transportation framework under it. Then Yurii Kuvykin barge will be ballasted and the upper structure will be loaded onto it. The final stage before the transportation is installation of the offshore fastenings.
The drilling complex allows drilling a cluster of 15 deviating holes with horizontal injection of the bore hole, 9 operation wells for hydrocarbons production and 6 injection wells to maintain the bed pressure. The complex is designed to supply the drilling and the operation complex and the residential module of the platform with power and heat. The operation complex ensures collection of products from the well, measurement of productivity, feeding of the products to the central technological platform, distribution and feeding of gas lifting gas from the central technological platform to the oil production wells, reported http://www.oilru.com.
