TAP (Trans Adriatic Pipeline) has invited Greek companies to participate in the construction of the pipeline project. TAP invited more than 25 regional and local technical and commercial chambers in Northern Greece to help in finding Greek companies which could support in the construction of the project. The demand is the central element of a programme -designed by TAP- for possible suppliers of goods and services.
This program, currently under processing for a period of more than a year in cooperation with Kantor Management Consultants, has identified around 1,000 companies in related business fields.
Richard Skoufias, TAP’s manager in Greece said: “We wish to build long-term and successful partnerships and we are convinced that in order to achieve this it was necessary to safeguard that the implementation of the project will create the maximum possible value for all interested parties. In this context, this initiative is another step towards promoting cooperation with local chambers and business unions”.
According to a timetable set, all tenders for the Greek part of the pipeline are expected to be launched by the end of the year.
