Ali Majedi, Iranian Deputy Minister of Oil for International Affairs, said that the talks to increase Iranian gas deliveries to Turkey and change of gas prices continue. Iran would like to increase its share at the Turkish gas market up to the Russian share, but Turkey claims that in this case Iranian gas price should be comparable with Russian gas price. At present Turkey buys 2.5-3 times more gas from Russia, than from Iran.
Majedi said that if Turkey agrees that Iran and Russia deliver the same volume of gas, then Iran might change its gas prices. In other words, Iranian gas deliveries to Turkey will be increased, if gas price is corrected. The talks will be continued on the basis of this formula, reported www.Iran.ru.
