In quarter 1, 2014 Gasprom increased gas export to Far Abroad by 2.4% against the same period in 2013 up to 43 billion cub.m., reported the Russian gas holding.
UK has shown the highest growth. In quarter 1, 2014 UK bought 4.4 billion cub.m., up 30% against the same period last year.
Germany, the main consumer of Russian gas, increased import by 15% up to 10.4 billion cub.m. of gas.
Export to Turkey increased by 4% up to 7.76 billion cub.m. and to Italy – by 6% up to 7.32 billion cub.m.
