USA is not ready to deliver gas to Europe, Jen Psaky, representative of the US Department of States, told journalists on Friday.
“It is important for us to support Ukraine and its partners in Europe. At this stage we have no objects to export natural gas,” Psaky added.
She said that natural gas export from USA to Europe cannot start before the end of 2015.
On this day the EU member-states leaders have instructed the European Commission to work out the plan on reduction of dependence of Europe on the Russian energy deliveries by June 2014. Last year export increased by 23.9% against 2012 and totaled 139.32 billion cub.m.. The volume of oil deliveries totaled between 150 and 170 million tons. Russian gas is transported to Europe in transit via Ukraine, reported Russian Oil.
