Last week 46 deals were registered at the Turkmenistan state commodity exchange. Caspian Barrel reported quoting the Turkmenistan state news agency that entrepreneurs from Afghanistan, Estonia and other countries purchased liquefied gas, polypropylene, hydrofined diesel fuel, technical and burning kerosene, black oil and liquefied gas made at Turkmengas’s installations at foreign currency.
Businessmen from China and United Arab Emirates bought technical iodine made by Turkmenkhimiya state company.
Cotton yarn, lint cotton and industrial wheat were also purchased in foreign currency. Among the countries buyers are Switzerland, UAR, Turkey, Afghanistan, Kyrgyzstan and etc. Total sum of the deals reached about $116,500,000.
Businessmen from Russia, UK, Switzerland, UAE, Turkey, Iran and Ukraine bought cotton oil, cotton yarn and cargo machinery for a total amount of over 9 million manat.
Local businessmen bought polypropylene to the amount of about 85,000 manat for the local market.
