In February 2014 Turkmenistan delivered 200,250 tons to the world markets via BTC, SOCAR press office told Turan.
In January and February 2014 export of Turkmen oil via the BTC oil pipeline totaled 450,712 tons.
Turkmen oil transportation via BTC dropped by 47,438 tons or by 9.5% against January and February 2013.
Transportation of Turkmen oil via BTC started in July 2010. Oil extracted offshore Turkmenistan is transported via BTC. Turkmenistan’s oil is light.
