In order to improve quality of the services provided to the population and ensure transparency of observation of the contracts concluded with the customers, since February 6, 2014 Asan Xidmet will start providing services to customers of Azerigas, SOCAR’s company, SOCAR President Rovnag Abdullayev said at the conference devoted to implementation of the state program of socio-economic development of the regions on February 5, 2014.
In Asan Xidmet all customers, irrespective of place of their residence, will be provided five types of services. They are:
1) Recovery of lost smart card. The customers will have to submit original ID card of the citizen registered in their database, number of the smart meter or the customer’s code. The cost is 5 AZN.
2) Issuance of free gas limit to the registered internally displaced people. The customers need to submit the original ID card of the citizen registered in the database and the smart card. The service is duty free.
3) Printout of balance and information about debt. The customers will have to submit the original ID card of the citizen registered in the database and the smart card. The service is free.
4) Editing personal information of smart-card meter owners. The customers will have to submit the original ID card, the smart card and the original property ownership document (property registration or the purchase-sale agreement). The service is duty fee.
5) Information about smart card operation. The customers do not need to submit any documents and the service is free.
This service, however, will be available only to the customers using ITRON-SOCAR meters. In the future it is planned to expand type and number of services provided by Azerigas. The services will be provided in the Baku-based Asan Xidmet service centres No 2, 3 and 4 as well as in the Centres in Ganja and Sumgait cities.
