In January 2014 transit of Russian gas to European countries totaled 7.4 billion cub.m., up 5.3% against January 2013, reads web site of Ukrtransgas state company.
“In January 2014 7.4 billion cub.m. of gas was transported to the Western European countries via Ukraine, up 380 million cub.m. or 5.3% against January 2013,” reported the company.
In January 2014 transportation of natural gas for the Ukrainian consumers totaled 6.6 billion cub.m., down 5% against January 2013. Last month gas was not imported from Europe to Ukraine.
According to the same source, volume of tank gas and import from Russia to Ukraine remained the same as in January 2013 or 14.1 billion cub.m. and 2.5 billion cub.m., respectively, reported RIA Novosti.
