Job Description For Lead Process Engineer
Qualification
- Degree in Chemical Engineering
- Minimum of 5 years of working experience in the crude oil refining or petrochemical industry
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Operation or Process.
- Has a risk-based approach
- Having strong decision-making, problem-solving skills, and leadership qualities
- Demonstrated experience to lead projects and manage resources
- Ability to effectively work and communicate at all levels
- Familiar with the Turn around, troubleshooting, monitoring, Process evaluation report, HSE approach, tender preparation, operator training, Start Up and Shut Down process, Catalyst and chemicals management, Aspen report analyses, KPI following and analyses
- Good level in both written and verbal English
- Good level of MS Office and reporting
Job Description
- Mentoring to the junior staff and lead engineering for process approach
- Communicating and Consulting with the designer on process issue
- Commisioning new unit
- Performing Incident investigations and facilitating Fault Tree, Fishbone etc.
- Conducting process training
- Supporting HSE, Operation, Inspection, Planning, Maintenance etc.
- Monitoring the existing systems and look for troubleshooting and/or increasing efficiency, defining and solving problem, applyinf new technology
- Defining process KPI, route map for process, training list
- Communicating with licensor, catalyst and chemical company, technology company like phd, aspen study
- Managing and commissioning new unit project or revamp
- Leading process engineers and chiefs
- Preparing ER, Tender, Bidder evaluation etc.
