The export of Azerbaijani gas volumes declared at the customs in January-November 2022 amounted to 18 billion 647 million 569 thousand cubic meters, by 2.1% higher than over 11 months of last year.
According to the State Customs Committee of the Azerbaijan Republic, the cost of Azerbaijan’s export gas amounted to $14 billion 807 million 620.51 thousand (an increase of 3.3 times).
From these data, we can conclude that Azerbaijan sold its gas at an average price of $794.08 per 1,000 cubic meters. During the reporting period, Azerbaijan exported its gas to Georgia, Turkey, Greece, Italy, and Bulgaria. Azerbaijan sells more than half of its gas volumes on the European market.
Gas supplies in the reporting period accounted for 40.75% of Azerbaijan’s total exports (22.62% in January-November 2021).
