Job Purpose (Briefly state the job’s overall objectives)
Displaying a positive safety attitude within the Field Service team with a commitment to HSE, Concern reporting and the completion of JSA and Risk assessments.
Be committing to Baker Hughes’s Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental policies and procedures.
Working both on and offshore on critical drilling equipment, within the oil and gas industry
Ensure GE Learning is kept up to date.
Provide support to customers for the EUK/WA region.
Be fully converse with both Vetco and Hydril drilling equipment to carry out customer support and inspection activities in the field
Understand how to navigate ePIMMS to find equipment details and VGS’s to carry out the inspection / recertification tasks both within the field and customer locations
Be competent in reporting and feeding back information when deployed through to project end
Be a self-motivated person who can work on his / her own initiative and take control of projects when required
Communicate with customers & support other FSE’s, if necessary.
Arrange all travel to and from deployments
Upload all reports and expenses to the Box folders for the Job/ Project
Be safe and look after the safety of other communicating both good and bad via “Concern Report”
Report to the Field Service management and the Lead Field Services Supervisor
Carry out all deployments to the best of your ability following all EHS and environmental policy’s
Interact with customers in a professional manner as a Baker Hughes reprehensive
Time served and or college education with a proven record of experience within the field service department or maintenance departments
Must have experience in reading drawing and working to tight tolerances
Must meet a standard level of education
Be a good communicator both written and oral
Able to interface at all levels of the organization both internal and external
Function effectively under pressure at busiest periods.
Self-motivated individual to meet the demands of the industry.
The employee needs to be competent against their key roles and responsibilities and be audited accordingly.
