Supporting the Project Controls Manager in managing the project controls activities,

Ensuring HSSE goals, objectives and targets are met through personal leadership and involvement,

Championing the ‘Safety Shield’ behaviors and engagement activities,

Liaise with the Project Controls Manager to prepare the Project Controls execution plan,

Supporting in disseminating the HAOR Modernization and Reconstruction Project vision throughout the PMC team,

Supporting the development of a Project culture that enables a high performing team,

Supporting the change management process across the Project,

Supporting the risk management process across the Project,

Supporting the interface and stakeholder management processes across the Project,

Ensuring that effective Project Controls systems and processes are implemented,Establishing and resourcing a cost-effective PMC Project Controls team,Providing overall management of the Project Controls function within the PMC, Maintaining a Project Controls Issues register and tracking of each issue to closure,

Managing the Project Controls function and responsible for schedule performance, progress measurement, cost estimating, cost control, analysis of EPCM Contractor Change Requests, risk management and Project reporting,Follow-up project controls issues for resolution and closure,Maintaining the overall Project controls procedures covering:

Planning and scheduling, Progress measurement, Cost estimating

Cost control, Change management, Risk management, Invoicing management and control

Keep close control on maintaining the overall Project schedule,

Monitoring of the EPCM Contractors to ensure that they satisfy Project Controls requirements,Be the liaison with Employer and EPCM Contractors in all matters related to project control,Preparing/reviewing and issuing all Project Reports.

Work experience

Excellent understanding of Project Management principles and techniques.

Excellent understanding of Project Controls principles and techniques.

Previous experience in a managerial or supervisory position within contracts, project controls, procurement, and accounting preferred.

Role model understanding of Cost Control, Estimating, Change control, Risk analysis, Planning

Meets all competency criteria. 

Degree

Degree in relevant technical or business discipline preferred, and/ or suitable industry experience.
