Kazakhstan produced 12.464 million tons of oil in January-February of 2018, which is 8.9% more compared to the same period last year, the statistical committee of the Ministry of Economy said.
In two months, 2.198 million tons of gas condensate was also produced (a decrease of 1.3%).
The extraction of natural gas fell by 0.5% to 3.925 bcm, and associated petroleum gas – increased by 15.4%, to 5.282 bcm.
The production of gasoline in Kazakhstan, including aviation, in January-February decreased by 4.3% and amounted to 539.1 thousand tons. The output of diesel fuel decreased by 6.6% – to 668.7 thousand tons, and the output of fuel oil – by 20.1%, to 627.6 thousand tons.
According to the statistics committee, the volume of coal production during the reporting period reached 19.761 million tons, which is 0.6% more than in January-February 2017.
Electricity production in the country for the first two months of this year increased by 11.2% – to 19.792 billion kW/h.
