Turkmenistan and Iran have signed 13 memoranda of understanding to broaden ties between the two nations, with their presidents vowing to work towards developing deeper cooperation, Iran Front Page news agency reported Tuesday.
The MoUs were signed by high-level delegates from the two sides in a meeting between Iranian President Hassan Rouhani and his Turkmen counterpart Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov in Ashgabat on Tuesday.
The agreements cover collaboration in various fields, including political, cultural, trade, industrial, agricultural, sports and academic.
