The Iranian Gas Transmission Company (IGTC) delivered over 156 billion cubic meters of natural gas over the course of the first 9 months of the current Iranian calendar year which began on March 21.

According to the figures released by IGCT, the company injected the gas to various gas-consuming sectors of the country.

The company also delivered 566.4 mcm/day of the item which is up 7% year-on-year.

The company runs 36,000 kilometers of high pressure pipelines which can transmit over 800 million cubic meters of the item every day.

IGTC has planned to lay 9,000 km of pipelines by 2025 in an effort to gear up its gas transmission capacity.
