Azerbaijan, Czech Republic to sign memorandum on energy

Azerbaijan and the Czech Republic will sign a memorandum on mutual understanding in the energy sector in January 2017, the Azerbaijani Energy Ministry said in a message November 29.

contract2According to the message, the signing of the document was discussed at the meeting between Natig Abbasov, Azerbaijani deputy energy minister, and the Czech delegation, consisting of Martin Pospisil, director of the department of foreign economic policy of the Czech Republic’s Industry and Trade Ministry, Olga Kalinova, secretary of the Azerbaijan-Czech joint commission on economic, scientific-technical and cultural cooperation and Vitezslav Pivonka, Czech ambassador to Azerbaijan.

“The document has been prepared for signing in Baku January 17-19, 2017 within the meeting of the Azerbaijan-Czech joint commission at the ministerial level,” the message said.
