“Gazprom is actively cooperating with partners from Turkey on the construction of the gas pipeline Turkish Stream. It is worth waiting for the news soon,” Deputy Foreign Minister Alexei Meshkov told RIA Novosti.
“Gazprom and the Ministry of Energy of Russia are now actively working with their Turkish partners. I hope that very soon we’ll get news in this regard,” he said.
The Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak said last week the Ministry of Energy expects to sign an intergovernmental agreement on Turkish Stream at the World Energy Congress, which will be held in Turkey on 10-13 October.
