From 2015 to 2030 Kazakhstan can increase oil production by 60% to 2.7 million barrels a day. This will lead the country into a leader among the world’s top oil producers in terms of current production, reports BNews.kz.
In addition, by 2025, 75% share of the total oil and gas production in the country will be in the three largest Kazakh projects – Tengizchevroil, Kashagan and Karachaganak. This was announced during a press conference held at the opening of the 24th Kazakhstan International Exhibition Oil and Gas – KIOGE 2016.
During the exhibition KIOGE 2016 memorandums were signed between the Union of Oilfield Service Companies of Kazakhstan KazService and the Autonomous Cluster Fund Park of Innovative Technologies.
It should be noted that during the 23 years of existence of the exhibition and conference KIOGE more than 100,000 experts have participated in the event. More than 9,000 participants have become part of the exhibition and every year 36 countries attend to the event, represented by well-known companies and large conglomerates.
