Iranian Oil Ministry has selected eight Iranian companies, which will become local partners for big foreign investors interested in development of oil and gas fields on the territory of the country, Shana news agency reported quoting Iran’s Deputy Minister of Oil Mohammad Reza Mukaddam.
Ministry has selected them from 37 companies. They are Petropars, Oil Industries Engineering and Construction (OIEC), Dana Energy, PetroIran, MAPNA Group, Khatam ul-Anbia Construction Headquarters, Industrial Development & Renovation Organization of Iran (IDRO Group) and Persian Oil and Gas Development.
The partnership powers of the above-mentioned companies are limited, Mukaddam said.
Deputy Minister said they will be able to work with the foreign companies only in fields of exploration and extraction of hydrocarbons.
