From January to April 2016 the Azerbaijan’s oil industry has shown a zero growth, according to the Azerbaijan State Statistical Committee’s report.
According to the report, during first four months this year the GDP declined by 4.5% (during this period GDP totaled 16,867,900,000 AZN).
From January to April 2016 the volume of non-oil GDP totaled 10,938,700,000 AZN with the decline of 6.8%.
During this period GDP decline was caused by reduction of manufactured of products and services in construction and transport sectors by 35.5% and 14.2%, respectively.
From January to April 2015 GDP per capita totaled 1,756.7 AZN (decline by 5.6%).
