Iran exports 35% of its daily oil production to Europe, Seyed Mohsen Ghamsari, Director for International Affairs and member of Board of Directors of National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC), said in his interview to Mehr agency.
Ghamsari did not mention exact figures, but added that right now Iran’s oil export to Europe is at the highest level since introduction of the sanctions against Iran in 2011.
According to the statistical information announced by Iranian Oil Minister Bijan Namdar Zanganeh, at present Iran exports between 1.7 and 1.75 million barrels of oil a day. Considering this information, over 500,000 barrels of oil a day is exported to Europe.
