US and European companies could invest capital into the Iranian commercial objects, including the oil industry, reported IRNA news agency.
Mekhdi Khoseini, head of the Revision Committee of the Oil Contracts of the Oil Ministry OF Iran, told IRNA that in September 2015 Iran is going to present the conditions of new oil contracts for the western investors.
He said Iran’s oil industry remains rather attractive for the foreigners and not only Tehran, but also many western companies suffer from the sanctions.
Khoseini added that the new contracts are attractive and explained that in the past the Iranian government has committed itself to pay all costs of hydrocarbons production to the contractor. Now the Iranian National Oil Company is ready to create joint ventures with the foreign partners, which will receive income from oil and gas production.
“If the sanctions remain in force, we will have no other choice, than to take into consideration the political aspect while concluding future agreements,” Khoseini said.
