In 2014 Statoil’s net profit decreased by 45%

statoil3-1During 2014 net profit of Norwegian Statoil ASA oil and gas group decreased by 45% against 2013 and totaled 21.9 billion Norwegian crown ($2.88 billion), reads the company’s report.

            During a year Statoil’s profit decreased by 1.58% to 606.8 billion crown ($79.91 billion).

            In quarter 4, 2014 net loss of Statoil totaled $1.17 billion against $2.38 billion of profit from October to December 2013.

            The company reported that during a year the volume of Statoil’s hydrocarbon production reached 1,927,000 barrels of oil equivalent a day, down 1% against 2012. The quarterly growth of volume of production constituted 8% up to 2.10 million barrels a day, reported http://1prime.ru.
