The same source said that Khamza Kerimov, President of SOCAR Romania, daughter company of SOCAR, said at the summit of foreign investors in Bucharest that at present SOCAR is among top ten big investors in Romania.
Kerimov added that at present 30 petrol stations under SOCAR brand name have been operating in 13 districts of Romania. “One of the goals of the company in Romania is to get 10% share at the petrol filling market,” said SOCAR.
SOCAR has started working in Romania since 2011. Since that time SOCAR has created 400 jobs in Romania and invested over 50 billion Euro into creation and expansion of its own network of petrol stations. In 2015 the company plans to open at least 10 petrol stations in Romania.
