From January to April 2014 Azerbaijan exported 11,281,350 tons of oil, reported the Azerbaijan State Customs Committee. Oil export decreased by 0.6% against the same period last year.
According to the meters, from January to April 2014 9,199,148 tons of oil was exported via the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan oil pipeline, 1,438,363 tons via the Baku-Supsa oil pipeline, 339,203 tons via the Baku-Novorossiysk oil pipeline and 304,636 tons of oil to the Georgian ports by railway.
According to the Committee, the volume of declared oil, which was exported during this period, totaled 7,467,140 tons to the amount of $6,148,529,086. One can conclude that from January to April 2014 Azerbaijan exported oil at an average price of $823.41 per ton or $111.27 per barrel.
The Azerbaijan state budget has been made up with the average annual oil export price of $100 per barrel.
