In five coming years about $660 million will be allocated from the state budget for the geological exploration in Kazakhstan, said Kazakhstan Vice Minister of Industry and New Technologies Nurlan Sauranbayev.
“The budget will allocate 119.68 billion tenge to fund the state program of geological exploration from 2015 to 2019. The program will also ensure geological study of the area of 1,128 sq.km.,” Sauranbayev said.
“Implementation of the program will allow creating conditions for discovery of new fields by 2020,” said Vice Minister.
Vice Minister reminded that the amendments to the law on bowels of earth have been worked out to improve business climate in fields of geology and bowels of earth.
