Kazakhstan Ministry of Oil and Gas considers possibility to limit Russian petrol import, Kazakhstan Minister of Oil and Gas Uzakbay Karabalin told journalists during the government session in Astana on Tuesday.
“We have no limitations right now. But we will have to consider that. Russia could deliver some petrol, but it should be regulated so the production is even throughout the year,” he said.
Karabalin said that it is important to protect interests of the local plants. “If we have too much imported petrol, the market will be oversaturated. We are going to discuss the regulation schemes with the members of the government,” Minister added.
