Construction of the plant to produce high-octane Euro-5 petrol is in progress on the west of Kazakhstan, reported Bnews.kz.
Condensate company’s press office reported that the project is included into the industrial map of the country, which costs about $200 million.
The equipment has been ordered in the US and its full shipment is expected in October 2014, some columns will be delivered already in July. The infrastructure projects of the new plant are almost completed.
“The oil transshipment base, loading racks for dark types of products and reservoir parks have been built on the plant and on the transshipment base. Construction of foundations and technological platforms for the new equipment will begin in the near future. The work on the documents for construction of the installation for vacuum refining and acid gas utilization is in progress. The training of specialists for the new plant will begin in autumn 2014,” said Valerii Junusov, chairman of Condensate.
Condensate is a big local company based on the west of Kazakhstan. Its average annual volume of sales during the past three years is worth over 30 billion tenge. According to the annual rating of National Business magazine, during the past 10 years the company has been among top 100 enterprises of Kazakhstan.
