In the near future Iran intends to increase oil production from 2.8 up to 4.2 million barrels a day, said Iranian Oil Minister Bijan Namdar Zangane.
In his interview to IRNA he mentioned that Tehran “will not wait for the US permission” and that he sanctions applied by the US and western partners will not hinder rising of export.
“We have great plans to increase oil export, we have already increased oil production to select OPEC quota,” said Minister.
Zangane was optimistic about the perspectives of cancellation of the oil sanctions, but added that if “they remain, we will act considering this situation.”
